Personal Project

During the pandemic, I moved to our countryside house and noticed that my colour antennas were on, since nature in springtime was so light and pale, every little detail of colour around stood out.

I decided to collect monochromatic colours and create scenes where they all meet and communicate. I was interested to see what colours are used for specific functions that work as indicators we read unconsciously, like alerting and contrasting red for cupcake forms, lids of jars or fly swatter, blue for hygienic purposes & clarity. 

I started with red, continued with blue, and then moved back to Riga, so my research will continue at some point later on :)
